Oh dA categories, how you confuse me.

So this was my promo poster done for Bob Hardin's Layout class from my first year at the Joe Kubert School.

Basically the assignment was, to draw whatever you like to draw the most. So I put some elements of some of my favorite things to draw. Sexy women, the city (which is ironic because I hate drawing buildings), dancing, romantic couples, music, vibrant colors, and supernatural elements like the demon wings.
And this would become a promo for a magazine cover, advertisement, etc.

My concept for this came out a lot better than the final piece (her hair was originally going to be green, but I felt it would blend with the sky), plus the girl's proportions are a little off, but ah well. I like how it came out overall. I may fix this up later on.

Whether the girl is a demon, or just a raver with demon wings on her back for fashion's sake, you decide.
